Cell Phone

Biajee washed his cell phone in the washer again 2 days ago. He was wildly searching for it this morning and started to get short on everything. I tried to help him a bit, but then asked, "You didn't wash it again, did you?"

A minute later, he was digging into a pile of wet clothes in the washer and there it was! Fortunately, his contract with Verizon just surpassed 2 years, which means if he signs another 2 year contract, he'll get a cell phone for free. We went to Costco for lunch and got that taken care of. Costco even gave him an in-car charger, a headset and a cell phone holder for free. Biajee had to pay $4 of tax though.

We bought 2 book shelves on Black Friday, got the crib set up for our 2nd son and put the Christmas tree, ornaments and Christmas lights in place. It was a busy holiday weekend, but everyone was filled with joy.

We noticed an amusing fact when we participated in a party held for rich, high level and top notch academic people in Boulder. Nobody understands the economy and everyone is panicking about the stock market. Although I'm pretty happy with what I got, I still wish that I wasn't laid off, then I could buy another house in today's market. It's precisely the right time to invest.
