Independence Day

I made Buddha's Delight yesterday to bring to the party. The BBQ was so good. Every family in the US was BBQing last night. The pollution must have been serious.

Arnold tried to tear open Bingo (a dog)'s mouth after dinner. He has a crush for dogs, maybe it's because he is a dog in Chinese horoscope. Poor Bingo and her sister Chanel stepped around Arnold all the time to avoid being hurt.

There were fireworks in almost every town we passed by, accompanied by thunder and drops of rain. The National Flag of the United States is handmade, every strip was sewed together and each star was embroidered onto the flag.

Part of the reason I love July 4th is that the stock market always bounces up afterwards. It's good time to short stocks before and after this holiday.

Blackstone bought Hilton right before July 4th and Hilton's stock soared this morning.
