Preparing for Independence Day
I had to emphasize to Biajee that we could not cater to Arnold's needs at midnight when he wanted to get up and play. He'll have to be disciplined.
I've successfully accomplished the wish to nurse Arnold for a year and it's time to wean him now. He'll have to understand bedtime is bedtime. The rule cannot be bent.
We're getting ready for July 4th tomorrow. It falls on a Wednesday. We'll cook some veggie dishes and bring it over to Judy's house with the gourmet wine we bought from Greece. Arnold will play with elder kids. Biajee can drink and eat. We'll all sing KaraOK and play cards.
I was trying to fish through our list of friends and see who could come over to our house for dinner on Saturday. It'll be 7/7/7 - the luckiest day on earth. We don't know what we'll get, but Biajee and I have entered the drafting for Papa John's Pizza. The jackpot is a Papa Card of $777.
